Will I still have to pay my divorce attorney?

I recently went through a really bad divorce. My wife ended up getting a large settlement and the divorce, overall, was extremely costly. I just lost my job and now my the debt that I had is growing out of control. If I file for bankruptcy, will my divorce attorney sue me to collect the money that I owe her?

If the court ordered you in the family law case to pay your wifes attorney you can not discharge the debt. But you can discharge the debt to your attorney if it was not included in the family law orders.
