How do I get papers from my bankruptcy?

I went through a bankruptcy in 2000. I have the discharge papers but I need copies of the creditors involved in that case. What can I do?

Contact the attorney that represented you or go to the Federal Bankruptcy Clerks office and ask for copies of file. Undoubtedly there will be a cost for the copies.

The information that you need is available online though a subscription based service called PACER (Public Access to Court Electronic Records). Most Bankruptcy Attorneys subscribe to this service. The cost is .08/page viewed.
